Baltimore Ravens' - Lamar Jackson

(BBR) Baltimore - Lamar Jackson is one of the most exciting quarterbacks in the NFL today, and there has been plenty of speculation about where he might end up if he were to leave the Baltimore Ravens. One team that has been mentioned as a potential destination for Jackson is the Indianapolis Colts, and recent comments from Colts owner Jim Irsay have fueled that speculation even further.

During a recent interview, Irsay was asked about the possibility of the Colts pursuing a quarterback in the upcoming offseason. He responded by saying that he would be willing to offer a "big-time, guaranteed contract" to the right player, adding that he believes the team has "the resources to do it."

These comments immediately sparked rumors that Irsay was referring to Lamar Jackson, who will become a free agent at the end of the 2022 season. While Jackson has expressed a desire to remain in Baltimore, the Ravens have yet to sign him to a long-term contract, leaving the door open for other teams to make a run at the former MVP.

So what would it mean for the Colts to pursue Lamar Jackson? On the surface, it seems like a perfect fit. Jackson is a dynamic playmaker who would bring a new level of excitement to the Colts offense. He is a threat both through the air and on the ground, and his ability to extend plays with his legs would give Indianapolis a new dimension that they have not had in years.

However, there are also some potential roadblocks to a Jackson-to-Indy scenario. For one, the Ravens would almost certainly be reluctant to let go of their franchise quarterback, and they have the ability to use the franchise tag on him if they are unable to work out a long-term deal.

Additionally, Jackson would likely command a massive contract, and it remains to be seen whether the Colts would be willing to commit that kind of money to a single player. While Irsay's comments suggest that he is open to the idea of a "big-time, guaranteed contract," it remains to be seen just how much he would be willing to pay for a player of Jackson's caliber.

Despite these potential obstacles, the idea of Lamar Jackson in a Colts uniform is an intriguing one. Indianapolis has a talented roster that is ready to win now, and adding a player like Jackson could be the missing piece that propels them to a Super Bowl. It remains to be seen whether the Colts will pursue Jackson in earnest, but one thing is for certain: the rumors and speculation are only going to continue to swirl until the situation is resolved.

(BBR) It’s virtually unassailable that Tom Brady is the greatest football player to ever walk planet earth. Even more absolute is the fact that Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen comprise the most talked-about NFL couple to ever exist, even up to their eventual divorce.

With its timing coinciding with Brady’s on-again, off-again retirement, many have speculated that the former Buccaneers and Patriots quarterback’s decision to return to the field after announcing his retirement was a big reason behind their eventual split.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Bündchen cleared the air on what many assumed to be a logical conclusion about the end of their relationship. According to her, it’s been a slowly developing decision that’s spanned years and not one that hinged on one decision.

“When their marriage officially ruptured last year, the media and the public assumed the timeline and its causation: that the marriage ended after Brady U-turned out of retirement. But marriages aren’t built, or broken, overnight, Bündchen says now. ‘That takes years to happen.'”

She described that characterization as both “hurtful” and the “craziest thing I’ve ever heard,” indicating that she wants nothing but success and happiness for Tom Brady whether or not they’re together.

“’Listen, I have always cheered for him, and I would continue forever,’ Gisele Bündchen insists, her voice thick with emotion. ‘If there’s one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it’s him, believe me. I want him to achieve and to conquer. I want all his dreams to come true. That’s what I want, really, from the bottom of my heart.’”

The trouble with being such a public couple is that unsolicited whispers can never be avoided. Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have long been two of the most high-profile figures in their respective fields, which worked to their detriment amid their divorce. They’re no strangers to the rumor mill. The best they can do is voice out their truths and hope the public follows suit.
